ESPN has released its preseason top 25 rankings for the 2024 college football season, providing an early look at the teams expected to contend for the national championship.
The reigning national champion Georgia Bulldogs top the rankings, followed by the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Oregon Ducks. Michigan, Alabama, and Texas round out the top five.
Notable players to watch for include Blake Corum, Michigan's star running back who is entering his senior season. Corum set single-season school records for total rushing yards (1,467) and touchdowns (18) last year.
Quarterback Carson Beck is another player to keep an eye on. Beck is expected to take over the starting role at Georgia following the departure of Stetson Bennett.
